At first, Hamad was really struggling with his essays. He had submitted drafts to my essay editing service and received crucial feedback that it was time to go back to the drawing board. But he felt stuck and didn't know what next steps to take.
With several weeks of private coaching, we discussed his ideas in depth, built detailed structures for ALL of his essays, revised multiple versions, and polished his language into stunning final drafts!
Hamad was stunned. He proved to himself that his dreams ARE possible and he is capable of more than he thinks!
We will begin meeting weekly on Zoom starting in July, but if you book a call and enroll a couple months in advance you can get extra perks! It is estimated that this entire process will take 5-7 months, of around 25 live coaching hours. However, this length of time may fluctuate depending on the student and their needs. If it takes a couple extra hours to get the applications completed, I'll be flexible so we can get 'em done!
Hey there! While your child is in my program, you'll never be left in the dark about the status of your child's college applications. You must attend the Free Strategy Call with your child, and when you enroll you will be fully informed of all program policies.
I ask that you allow your child and me to meet in our weekly coaching sessions 1 on 1. I will provide you a written Session Summary for each session we have, so you'll always stay in the know. But if you would like to ask me questions, I will allow the first or last 5 minutes of each session for you to join the Zoom. Since this is your child's college application, I must work with them privately for the remainder of the session.
All essay editing for my private coaching program will take place with the student on Zoom! I find that the most valuable insights are discovered when we open a conversation in real-time to dissect the thought process behind your writing.
Nope! Whatever your dream school may be, I'll do my best to help you get there 🙂
I will not write your essays for you! College essays are deeply personal and must come from your voice, ideas, and story. I will guide you through the development of your story and offer specific advice on how to improve essay structure, sentence phrasing, clarity, cohesion, grammar, flow, and storytelling. I can suggest alternative sentences or words you can use, but I will not completely write or rewrite your essay.
I can confidently say I would recommend Dyllen to any of my friends or classmates. Her edits are very comprehensive and she has ensured that all my essays sound precise, personal, and interesting to read. I definitely recommend meeting on Zoom with her to explain your ideas for your essays, she has been very helpful in helping me find ways to elevate my essay topics and make them incredibly specific. Her help has reduced my stress greatly in this process and I truly believe her services are worth the money.
Samantha – Purdue University IllinoisAs an international student who was completely new to the process, Dyllen helped greatly in breaking down each and every step of crafting the perfect essay. I was able to effectively brainstorm ideas for my essays and perfect my essays to tell my authentic story to colleges. I haven’t come across any other extensive resource for essay writing elsewhere! Definitely recommend it to seniors who are struggling to craft their own story.
Mahi - UC San Diego SingaporeA BIG thank you for creating this program. It has helped me become more comfortable with sitting myself down and learning more about myself. I feel more connected and in-tune with myself now that I have completed the admissions process. The "things I feel vulnerable about" part honestly brought me to tears. Dyllen provides VERY thorough instructions and makes it so college apps doesn't feel like work. Thank you Dyllen!
